We used this Attorney to file bankruptcy at an inital cost of $1000.00 When we gave our information to his office we were told that we could not claim our 18 year old son who lives with us and still attends high school among numerous other expeses that they totally disregarded.
At every appointment with our attorney he coved the same questions and charged us for an hour of time. We never addressed any of the questions that my husband and I had until 15 minutes before we went before a Federal Judge.
While in court Mr Nadler then seems to think we can claim our son and other expenses that were not on the original filing.
The judge basically threw us out of court with a long lecture about all this last minute information. He made it quite clear that this info should have been included in the original pettitoin and he wasn't about to allow it now.
It cost us $1500 to pay this person when we could have sent this money to our creditors. Had our original questions been address before the petittion was filed all of the claims the judge disallowed would have been approved.
Our lawyer never listened to anything we had to say. He just does bankruptcy by the numbers and anything extrodinary he chooses to ignore unless he starts to feel he may loose.
