Chad Robinson of McFarlane Mortuary advised us to hold our son's funeral service on December 23. He assured our family that the remains would arrive by December 20th and they did not. When we contacted him on December 22nd to find out where the ashes were he responded, "How should I know. They'll probably arrive on Monday." — Monday was Christmas Day and the post office doesn't deliver. Due to Robinson's carelessness, lies, and incompetence our son's remains did not arrive as promised and we were unable to scatter his ashes and honor him properly at his funeral service. We have complained to Robinson and the owner of the Mortuary, Dennis Hamilton, who refuses to return our calls. Robinson has expressed no remorse for his actions and refuses to take responsibility for his words. His General Manager Kay defends him and has dismissed the matter as inconsequential. A funeral cannot be re-done, mourners cannot be expected to return for a replay and we were not able to lay our son to rest.
