Ladco Leasing
Ripoff Stole Money From My Business Account

I had a similar experience, as it seems, lots of other people, by stupidly signing a contract ("just so we can do a credit check on you"). I told them that we had just signed a lease on new business premises and that it was far from ready for a credit card machine and that I would let them know when I was ready, this they agreed to.

Less than a week later a credit card machine arrived. I spoke with the processing company who told me they sold the lease rights to Ladco and they said for me to send the machine back to them and they would cancel everything untill my business was ready to open. I immediately sent it back unused and unopened, to the processing company, who sent it out in the first place.
It was 6 months later that my business opened.in that time I closed my newly opened bank account because it seemed the only way to stop Ladco taking money for something I never wanted, had or used.

THEN the phone calls started. Abusive, threatening and totaly ignorant of my concerns for what was right. Calls to my place of business and to my home at ridiculous hours. I am in NC and of course Ladco is in Ca. Threatening phone calls, not only to me, but my business partner, my wife and my business partners girlfriend also, for weeks on end, day and night.
The words kept repeating from Ladco and its agents, ITS AN UN-CANCELLABLE CONTRACT!!! Then we finally had calls from a pre litigation company in Connecticut calling with the same old, same old, ITS UN-CANCELLABLE!!! Rude, abusive and threatening every time. I had people shout, cuss and slam telephones down because they couldnt squeeze any more money out of my business. Finally I told them to sue me in North Carolina, because the "contract" was a fax and nothing like legible under NC law. Also we had a verbal agreement that nothing would happen untill we were ready to open our business.

In the end I told the pre litigation company, s representative that they had just made the very last threatening call they would ever make to me or my assosciates or I would sue them for harrassment. Wonderment ensued. The phone calls stopped.
I am fairly positive that the processing company cancelled the contract at the start and paid Ladco their lease fee back, as they said they would and Ladco are so unscrupulous that they want their pound of flesh and pint of blood, neither of which they were entitled to.
They scammed me for over 6 months for nothing. The sum result is, I have recently found out they have denegraded my credit report which has zero blemishes apart from them.

Even putting in a challenge with Experian when Ladco said I was 30 days on my payment came to no end. They said it was late and thats that.
The report came back and said "IF FRAUDULENT CHARGES WERE MADE ON YOUR ACCOUNT, THE CREDIT GRANTOR MAY NOT KNOW HOW TO CONTACT YOU TO DISCUSS THIS MATTER. THE CREDIT GRANTOR REQUESTS THAT YOU CONTACT THEM DIRECTLY-"
Telephoning Ladco and talking to one of their representatives " Mary " this morning was like trying to talk to someone who recently graduated from the Adolf Hitler charm school.

A class action law suit would be fair justice for me and everyone else unfortunate enough to have dealt with these unscrupulous band of thieves.

Justice would be soo very sweet for the harrassment, threats and money they stole off me and my business partner, when, we didnt have it, with just starting up a new business. If theres any way I can be of assistance to anyone, please let me know. I would be VERY willing to do whatever I can to stop this band of thieves from operating.
