I requested a camcorder from TheDigitalExpo.com, and was a little amazed when my verification mail stated that I'd to contact an 800-number to verify my purchase. After I named, the pleasant man about the different end-of the point attempted to market me some expensive components (longevity batteries, etc.) I stated no thanks. 24 hours later, I obtained a contact stating that my purchase was terminated, due to a backorder. I examined their site, also it was still shown as accessible. I named customer support, and was informed, with a not too pleasant man, the the camera I requested was the "Western" edition, that was sold-out (no reference to Western version on web site), but they did possess the people version readily available for nearly twice the buying price of the main one I requested (no internet page for that "US" version whatsoever). I rejected. Considering he should be mistaken, I tried calling back again. This time around the man I acquired was down-right rude. They clearly simply promote the low cost to allow them to sell you additional products at an inflated price, so when you decrease they stop the purchase.
