I had to wait for 2 hours for a locksmith today (oct 31). I had locked my keys in the car. When that locksmith never showed to get me in, I called ABC 24/7 from an ad in the Yellow Pages. They came out nad informed me it would be $125 yto get into my car. I agreed because I had to get back to work.
It took this guy no more than 2 minutes total to get in and he charged me $125 for the Lock-out charge and another $55 for the service call. I called around and found that most everyone else in the area was from $60 to $85 to perform the same service.
This bill was out-and-out gouging and dispite me signing the receipt that said I have no complaints, I have nothing but complaints regarding this pricing. This is simply outrageous and takes advantage of those unfamiliar with the area pricing.
