I placed an order with Lowestpricedclothing.com aka Rachel Outlets on September 13. Funds cleared my bank account on September 18.
I spoke to Oscar on two different occassions in which he told me he would personally handle my order. Several emails later I still had not received my order.
Only after calling and leaving a message with promises to file complaints with the Federal Trade Commissioner, The Attorney Generals Office, their local consumer protection office, the Better Business Bureau and starting the small claims process did they call me back.
Ben at Lowestpricedclothing.com called me the same day I left the message. He told me my boxes would get shipped on 10/24/06 and gave me tracking numbers for UPS. Well my packages actually shipped today 10/27/06 and I should have them 11/2/06.
I'm not holding my breath but I do want the world to know that you don't have to sit by and watch these people take your hard earned money. Start making complaints with all of the above mentioned agencies and maybe just maybe they might start responding. Let the ripoff company know what you're doing, but still file your report. Search the internet and find other people that have been victims (if any) and ask them to file reports as well. The Federal Trade Commissioner cannot resolve your personal complaint but they can take actions against a fraudulant company, but they have to build their file and without complaints from the victims they can't do that. Try to recover your loses from the company via small claims if possible but more importantly do whatever it takes to keep them from making someone else a victim.
