I needed an xp pro uprade and found ctl on the web and ordered... Was told i would receive an email with a tracking # the next day, which i did... The horror story begins... I go to track my shipment as time was of the essence... Each time i got "no tracking id" started emailing the co and for a week was told to wait, it was definitely shipped and will definitely be there at the latest 8 days... Tried repeatedly to call and either the phone was busy or after 15 rings, while on my cell phone, there was a quick "answer off"... Now i believe i got ripped off and called the credit card company to advise ctl as a fradulent co as i still, after numerous emails and numerous unconnected phone calls and talk to me via the web conversations and continually got the same reply... Some told me it was shipped ups ohters told me it was the post office... So... Too many days later, hours of wasted time and numerous threats... I advised that to cancel and my c/c co. Was notified to dispute for non delivery... I get a generic email from the president that he was just advised the warehouse failed to ship for a lengthy timeframe w/o notification... And, the phone was being transitioned and needed to be disconnected for an unknown amount of time... This from the president... Would you ever buy from them!!!
Here's the clinker... I advised that i replaced with vio software, an exccellent co with real people on the phone, and i would like to cancel which the president stated was allowed... The answer was that even though it will not be shipped next week, since it was processed, it cannot be cancelled and that once i receive, i will need to spend cost to ship across the country against an rma he issued... Can you believe this company... Please do not buy anything from this co... Not only are they inept, they are much more expensive... I actually saved $15 by buying from vio...
