God bless this website. I was a stamp away from sending my $685.00 to this company when I got the idea to check the internet to see if there were any comments about this company, positive or negative. I couldn't believe how easy it was to find the negative comments. I really expected to spend time researching this company, but there you were immediately.
Isn't it amazing that no matter what the idea, Davison charges the same amount to investigate and create a "production ready" product?!! I was afraid that this was too good to be true.
My contact person, Paul Myers, was very nice and VERY supportive that my idea was really a good one. I got calls, a post card, more calls, the proposal for my signature and money then the letter.
"It is normal to take some time before making a decision, however... Please call with questions. We would like to start your project at the beginning of next month." (polite pressure) "If I don't hear from you within the next week... Assume you are not moving forward... And I will close your file." (Your failure is yours because you didn't try hard enough.) I have enough quilt, I don't need it from a stranger too!
Does anyone know where a legitimate company is that can help to get an idea off the ground?
