On wednesday, June 28, I responded to an ad in the paper that was looking for clerical work for a management position of a new company in Pinellas Park, Florida. I was given an interview 2 hours later. At the interview I was told to come back the next day at noon for a 2nd interview.
The next day the 2nd "interview" was to start at noon. Being that I desperatley needed a job, I showed up a half-an-hour early. I was tols I was too early and to go get something to eat, and come back at noon. (Should have been a sign right?)
When I got back, I was seated in a room with about 20 other people. The receptionist, Olivia, came in and then the owner, I think? Dickens something began his speech.
Two hours of explanation of the company, how we were being trained to run a new branch of the company as a manager overseeing 15-20 people.
The training. Eight weeks, put he was going to push to have us complete them in 4."Earn while you learn." Of the twenty or so people there, I was one of six that was hired. During training we would be able to make up to $400/wk through cash, bonuses, and incentives. After that we would make exactly $576.92/wk.
In the first week of training we would learn about sales in order to have a complete knowledge of all areas that we would soon be managing. He was going to give us a break and let us start with our family and friends. This is when I got suspicious.
Then, after 30 days, full benefits, after 60, they would pay for any college courses you wished to take. I was sold.
Then, I came home and tried to research Console Enterprise - nothing. Scharp Schotts - nothing. So I searched rendition perfume companies, and I found all of this.
I went to the Better Business Burea website - notihng. Then, I typed in the phone number that was listed in the paper - SCENTURA.
In the 2nd "interview" we were told they have offices in St. Pete, Tampa, Orlando, and Jacksonville. They will opening more in Largo, Clearwater, and Brandon.
Look out before you respond to that clerical/receptionist ad in the paper. The number in St. Pete - 727-520-0030. Stay away from it!
