Well, i signed up with a new cell phone service not too long ago. I chose Sprint because I was so tired of Cingulars hidden charges. They offered me the protction plan for my phone and with snowboarding I figured I'll probably need it. When the time came that my phone had broken I was informed that I would need to call a customer service number to even obtain a replacement. Not only that but that I would have to pay $50 for a replacement that might be refurbished. That is bs. I got the phone for free with my plan and was never informed of a deductible for the service. Everytime you go to a kiosk its always, "Oh, and for our product replacement it will only be $5.95 a month." I figured if my phone broke I would be covered. Wrong. Not until after my phone was broken did I find this out. It would be nice if they informed you of this before purchasing the product protection. Sprint is still by far the best cell phone provider I have found. Thats not saying much...
