They called me on my cell phone and told me that I qualify for a visa or mastercard that is $500-5000 limit. All I had to do was give them 129.95 for processing fee, I need credit so I foolishly said ok. The LIED!
I was told I would recieve within 14 business days my card. To my surprise I got a useless booklet for me to look over and choose from a list of banks and call them. So I called the FCS and they told me to call the banks and apply for credit, upset and angered, I decided to call 2 banks, I was turned down by both banks.
I explained that I just bought a car and the lady at FCS said the only way to get a refund would be to "ruin my credit more by calling 3 banks and being declined by them." Obviously not in those words, but that's the jist.
I am going to try and explain this to my bank, I hope they give me my money back! Companys like this should be illegal.
