I went to Aarons on an ad for a flat screen tv. I just paid off a couch and I always wanted a flat screen tv. When I got there the tv they was not what I thought. I looked around the store and saw a projector. I asked about it. The rep said she would make me a good deal on that one because it was used as a demo in the store. I said great! Lets do it... She told me that I might have to change the bulb at some point. I asked her at what point? She said "well im not sure how long they last" at which point her 12 year old son piped up and said "my freind has one and it lasted for 5 years before they had to change the bulb. To which the rep said " well, there you have it" I said thats fine where do I find a bulb and how much are they? Her response was " I don't know but Ill find out for you" I never did get the answer.

When the day came for me to recieve the projector I was not home, so they left it with my daughter. I asked them if I could take it home the night I ordered it but she told me that it was there policy to deliver the item. I thought it kinda strange since I just paid off a couch, but I said ok. When the projector arrived it was in an old box they found in the back that used for some other non related merchandise. There were no intructions or any kind of guide what so ever. The wires were just thrown in with it..

I called them right away and said that I felt that I should have recieved some intructions. They apoligized and said they would get them for me right away. I never recieved them until several months later after the bulb started going out.

A couple days later the cable man came to turn on my cable and he showed me how to hook it up... I called aarons and said that I got it hooked up but it wasn't working like the one in the store. I could adjust the screen size more then just a little bit. Not like the one in the store that had a wide range of sizes that you could adjust to. The rep (a different one) told me that the one they gave me was a different model and brand then the one in the store. He said it was a much better quality and it was newer. I was a bit taken back by that but I really didn't have the time to mess around with it.

Three months later the screen started turning yellow in the center and got bigger and bigger over time... I called aarons and I told them that I need the owners manual to find out what was going on. That took two months of researching until they down loaded a copy from some website they finally found. The manual was written in Japanese and did not say how to replace a bulb..

I was getting pretty hot at this point but another rep there was doing all he could to help me. I asked him how many more payments I had left and he said "18" I said how could I have 18 when it was only 12 to start with... By this time I furious... They told me that thats what was on the contract. I couldn't believe it... Something was fishy... After reading the manual they gave me several times I gave up tring to fix it and called aarons back. They said no problem, just bring it in and we'll get it fixed and give you a loaner... When i got the loaner home. It was as bad as the the first one and It was all scratched up. After a week it was flashing a light that said prepare to change bulb..
