1. First American Home Warranty has not paid a claim they authorized on kitchen sink repairs. They claim the technician did not receive authorization, but the technician states they did, and after the fact First American Home Warranty denied the claim.
2. I placed a call about a non-functioning light in December which First American Home Warranty has said they assigned to a technician, but as of March 20, I have not received any calls from any electrician.
3. I have a leaking wall hung toilet that needs to be replaced. I have estimates from local plumbers (there are no longer any approved plumbers in my area since the firm associated with item 1 quit as First American Home Warranty technicians after the denial of that claim) which vary from $900 - 1,800.
After days of deliberation, First American Home Warranty has offered a "buy out" with no further warranty on this toilet of $177.50, including toilet and labor!
