Im not sure you can help me but I thought writing you was worth a try. My husband and I recently decided it was time to get a new puppy as our dog died a few years ago at the age of 13yrs. We decided we would love to have a Great Dane as a member of our family. We found some search sites we thought to be reputable and started searching. My husband found an ad for a puppy he thought was the one for us. He called and spoke with the man a few times and was assured we were buying a happy healthy registered or registerable show potential black great dane.
What we got was a seriously ill puppy... Underweight and very sick. Not only was he sick he has a broken toe that is very noticable. This puppy. "Buster" was taken to the vets just hours after he was picked up at the airport. Hes been there ever since being treated for parvo virus. My story goes on and on and as yet has no resolution. We are coming to the realization we bought a puppy from a "puppy mill" run by Bill and Kristy Bartmann of 2196 N 190 Rd, Mounds, Ok 74047 phone 918-267-3674 or 918-830-1626. We also received "doctored" paperwork signed by a vet... Gary W. Bynum DVM of 6250 Hwy 16, Beggs OK 74421 and his phone is 918-267-4393 As of today our puppy who has yet to live in our home, has a vet bill of $1,000 and its still growing as Buster is still not well enough to come home. If there is anything you can do to help us or investigate this breeder and vet we would certainly appreciate it. If you know of anyplace else we can share this story so this tragedy doesnt happen to another family also please let us know. We can provide vet bills as well as copies of all the paperwork we did receive with the puppy to back up all we are saying.
