I've used VistaPrint at least 6 times in the past to get free business cards, mailing labels and Christmas cards. I've never had a problem until 11/05. I placed another order w / VistaPrint to get free business cards. And just like I did the last time I ordered, I clicked on the survey to get $10 off my next purchase. Although, I don't know why. I never used the first $10 coupon I got.
In 01/06, I noticed a charged of $14.95 on my PayPal debit card from PassportVista. I went back through my history and found two more charged in Dec. & Nov. I hadn't used the card for anything since Nov. So I had no reason to check my balance, I thought.
I had no idea who this company was, so I did a search for them on google. This website was the first result. I never authorized PassportVista to use my card. I never received an email, phone call, or membership benefits of any kind from them.
Appartently, when I signed up for the free $10 offer, I signed up for whatever membership PassportVista offers. Although, I'm not sure why the first time I signed up for the $10 offer that my card wasn't charged these fees.
If you order from VistaPrint and the free $10 coupon pops up, just do like you do to every other spam pop up, close it. A scam artist like PassportVista probably won't honor the coupon anyway.
