They sent their 2 employees to my house to collect money. I was 15 days late. I was not, home my neighbors later got a hold of me to inform me the Rent a Center Employees were looking in windows and were literally pounding my front door that bad that their walls were rattling. The continued this for over 20 minutes until she informed them they were trespassing and was going to call the police. They insisted I was home because they heard the t.V. On. The employees proceeded to tell her how late I was on my payments as well as how much money I owed. Needless to say I have very upset neighbors because of how loud they were being and because the one was peeping in windows and climbing walls to get on to porches. I lattr called them on my way home from the hospital they told me what I owed to pay off the vcr. I told them last week the amount was $75 dollars less. Now I called at 6:37 PM they told me I could have it $75 dollars less if I was in by 7:00 PM. I asked them if I changed to monthly payments what would they be and how long would I have to make the payments. The manager told me 41 paymets at $77 each. I don't know about you but that sounds a little over priced for a dvd vcr. My husband made it in before 7 to pay the lower amount. I don't know about you but this does not sound like proper business.
They abused my right to privacy by telling my neighbor all my personal business with them. Disturbance of peace with all the noise they were making and causing my dog to go ballistic. And last time I checked it was not legal to climb peoples walls and look in the windows and bang on the windows of someones home.
