It all started with CRC of Deerfielf Beach. They called me when I was 18 years old. Told me about an offer to get a few magazines for a flat fee of $120-150 can't really remember. The manager called abck to confirm and said it was going to be $30 per month. They would not let me cancel and not to mention the origional customer service rep told me to lie and say I was 21 years old in order to get into the contract. I was a broke college student. I could not pay for this. So to avoid getting it put on my credit report I accepted and paid the amount.
I finally paid off the amount! $273 Then a month later they were still charging my account. I called them and they said I opened another account. How stupid do thety think I am. Why would I open another account when i was still paying for the first one. And I didn't want the first one. Does that make sense. I have turned over this case to a lawywer and let the fight begin. I will not be scammed into another account. I dont want the magazines and I never did after finding out how much they cost.
P.S. My "second" account has a balance of $388.00.
