Amy, there are other alternatives. Yes, Kevin Trudeau is solely a businessman, looking to make a buck. The book does not give you much information, and the website is expensive. The costs you have are correct.
Do not waste your money on Kevin Trudeau's book or CD. I wish I hadn't purchased it.
He talks bad about pharmacutical companies, and then promotes make-up that is produced by one! Does this make any sense to you? It is just double-talk, to make a buck! I found many contradictions in his book. I was getting angry just reading it.

First contact a local natural health store in you area. Ask the manager of the store, if there is a homepathic/natural doctor in your area. If this store doesn't have any information, try another one. Don't get frustrated! You will find the one!
You can also look for larger natural stores. Such as Whole Foods and Earth Fare. These are more of a grocery store type, which are geared toward organic and natural foods. They will have magazines, and free literature. I have found natural doctors in their leaflets, and even dentists etc.
From my local natural health store, I have found the following complimentary magazine: Healthy Living. Take a look at it. They have many excellent articles.
See if your local natural health store offers seminars. These are very educational, and you get to ask questions.
