I enrolled puppies into a wellness plan, and due to circumstances (got rearended in may, but not getting better so going back to college), I am trying to find them a new home because I just don't have enough time and my older dog isn't happy with them. Well, naturally you have to pay for services rendered - but I noticed that some of the services they invoiced never were rendered! They want to charge me more money for the male who they saw 2 times, then the female thet saw 4 times and spayed! I was going to neuter the male, but was unable to make the time... I upgraded his plan, and then they refused to let me downgrade!!! Then they claim that his boosters will have to be paid out of pocket if I decrease the plan back to primary now because those services were rendered on the basic plan and won't be covered under primary - even though the primary plan is the one that covers vaccines etc, just not the alter... Even though I requested the plan decrease BEFORE they saw him to do the vaccines! Of course - they told me to call corporate office "customer service"... Who of course had to transfer me to another department, who of course is unable to do ANYTHING except call the hospoital I brought the dogs to and have them call me back!!! Which is back where I started. They have absolutely NO custmer service skills, and the only guy who is worth talking to at that location is a vet who isn't responsible for any of the books or billing. The woman did a HORRIBLE job on the spay, and personally, I don't want to deal with the incompetence showed at that office... But I'm trapped paying them for the next YEAR!!! AND whats more pathetic is that the new owner can't even take over the payments and continue to bring them there if they wanted to! Now if a person has a doctor and moves to a new residence, they can still keep thier doctor and any plan already paid for... But a dog isn't allowed to. That is ridiculous! If you have a new car, you are allowed to sell it and have the new owner take over the payments... But Banfield Vet is too GREEDY to let dog owners take over a vet bill. They want another PLAN ENROLLMENT FEE OF almost $100... And charge the new owner for a whole new plan! I don't reccommend this GREEDY, INPERSONAL, INCOMPETENT vet CHAIN to ANYBODY who loves thier pets! I won't bring my pedigree to them after the HORRIBLE job they did on the pups. And they failed to note the issues on the records... They labeled them both as being bright and shiny and healthy - when the girl pup has colitis and a dull dry coat. She is very time consuming to take care of... And if the vet would have noted some of her issues and explained them better, she might not have some of the issues she has today!
