I found All Victory via the internet, trying to find a reasonably priced mover. All Victory offered me the best price. I did some research on this company but found nothing on them that would cause me any worry or fear, and selected them to move my furniture and belongings from Whittier, CA to Rupert, ID.
After consulting first with Steve, then with Cleopatra, and lastly with Marina, I had a final price that was agreeable, which also included additional materials (boxes if needed). This price was $3,600. I gave Cleopatra my Visa Card number to use as a hold on the date, and was told that I would not be charge the $600 to my card, which was untrue, but, I learned this too late. I was told that this would be credited back to my card.
The day of the move, which was on September 14, the driver called my home in Whittier at 9:00 am to inform me that he was going to be late. He was supposed to be at my home at 7:00 am. They arrived at 10:30 am in an Enterprise Rental Truck. Their website and the forms sent me about All Victory said that they owned their fleet of trucks and trailors. I got somewhat leary and should have followed my gut level feeling.
There were four guys all Israelis, one was here illegally, from what I was told by Kobi Toberjemann.
As showed Kobi the boxes and furniture and other things that were to be taken from my home in Whittier, he said that the things that I had would cost me more. I called All Victory and was told that the price given was the amount I would pay.
So, they began to load things, not writing the items down first as stated in their website.
These men searched the house, and opened things up, broke lamps and other things.
They had loaded the truck one time, but them Kobi moved things around as to have it all appear as if I had more. He then sat with me and totaled things, and the amount came to ovewr $7,000.
He took a check from the bank in the amount of $3,200 and said I owed the balance when they arrived to my new home in Rupert, ID.
Then these guys found some checks that belonged to my late parents, and forged over $1,500 in checks as a tip for themselves. The one who cashed these or tried to cash them was Ariel.
I called All Victory to complain about the changes and to inform them of the fact that I was not given a few papers that I had signed, only a list of the inventory. I was transfered to Avi, the dispatch manager, who told me to F* off and hung up on me.
The on on September 19 a new driver had called my cell phone to tell me that he would be at my home at 2:00 pm. I told him that I was not to get my things until the 21st, as I had not taken possesion of my home, as I had to still finish signing all the required paperwork with the escrow company in Rupert, and pay them the amount owed on the house I had purchased from the couple whose home I had bought.
They still showed up and demanded that I pay them $5,000 before they could unload.
The papers I had said I owed only $3200 more, which was what I had from the bank. But, I was told that I was to pay with a Postal Money Order.
I called All Victory to speak with Cleopatra or Marina, but was transfered to Avi again, who cussed me out, and hung up on me. SO, I told the driver that I would need a 1/2 hour to go to get a postal money order as I moved to a rural city, and had to go to the next city, Burley where I could buy this postal money order, as the post office nearby would not be able to assist me with this at the time. He said he would wait, but, as I drove off he and the other guy drove off too.
They then called me to ask me if there was a storage place in town, which I said I was new to this town./
We found the two guys from All Victory drive past my friend's home (I have a friend who lives in the same town as I), and he knew where they were headed to, the storage facility.
They put my things in this storage, which is about 1/4 of a mile from my home. I know which unit they are in too.
Since this day, I have tried to work things out with All Victory, by reporting them, but, I am getting very little help, only from the DOT-FMCSA, who so far has sided with All Victory, stating that the things that they have received from All Victory prove that I signed papers. I have asked to see a copy of these, but, so far nothing has been sent to me, by mail or fax, or E-mail.
All Victory has been making verbal death threats over the telephone, harassing calls in the middle of the night, etc...
Marina has even said that she would see that my sons were killed.
No one is willing to hear our cries.
