Ripoff dishonest sold sick english bulldog puppies and my puppy died under their care we never gotten replacement they ignored emails and calls they caused the death of a 3 months old puppy

Dogvalley - Sean Corey Taylor ripped us off. He had cost us 5000cnd in total and the life of a sweet 3 months of English Bulldog puppy.

We found their website online and studied their puppies weekly for many months before we decided to purchase one. We were living in Vancouver, Canada at the time so Dogvalley was only a few hours drive south. Well we finally found a puppy that was quite adorable, so we went ahead with the purchase. We called Sean Taylor several times to speak with him before-hand and he was rather blas about the whole thing, until it came to us wiring the money, he became very pushy. This should have been an early warning sign, but we were excited about getting our new puppy so we went ahead with it.

Well we drove down the following weekend to pick up our bully. The "ranch" was an odd looking place, in the middle of nowhere - cle elum washington. Apparently they don't breed, they just import from breeders in both Europe and in the states. They have their own quarantine set up in their basement, with two rows of about 20 cages with puppies locked in them. Our first encounter with Dionysus (we soon changed to Iggy), our new puppy - he had a little case of the sniffles. He is very timid but he is as sweet as it can be. Sean assured us he was fine, just nervous - hes usually stays outside, he said so the cool air indoors must be making him a little uncomfortable.

Fine, so we bring him home and over the next day or two, he is sniffling more until finally we come home one afternoon and see he has mucus leaking from his nose. Well, we know this is a sure sign of kennel cough so we bring him to the vet, and put him on some anti-biotic and bring him back home - it gets worse over the next few days, so we board him at the vet's office - the vet contacts us and tells us that they have had to put an IV and its likely he has contracted pneumonia because he has fluid in his lungs. He doesn't respond to any treatment however so the vet begins to suspect a deeper problem - perhaps an issue with his heart.

Of course by this time we're heartbroken, stressed and out nearly 1500 dollars in vet bills and expenses. The vet refers us to a specialist for the heart condition to have it checked out, but we opt instead to call Sean and return the puppy to have this taken care of. Citing our contract with him and he agreed to it. We bring him back to the shelter, not knowing this is the last time we will see this sweet little puppy again. He was only 3 months old.

Sure enough, a few days later we recieve a call from sean saying the puppy died from a freak accident involving a fire, some smoke inhalation damage or something. He assures us we will be able to choose another pup in no time, saying they are having a shipment in and replace it. This is the last time we hear from Sean. As months goes by, our calls are not returned - the website not updated, absolutely no activity from them. We email every address we can find, contact every number, time and time again to no avail. Finally the website changes saying they have gone bankrupt and any claims should be forwarded to the lawyer.

Well, there was no contact information regarding the lawyer - we emailed the address given several times to no avail. We were never even able to make our claim as a creditor - Sean owed us over 2090USD in cash (not including the thousand dollars vet bill and the import taxes at the Canadian custom) but we never saw any of it again. All the money, time and stress invested in this is one thing though the worst part was the poor puppy. Sometimes we wonder if maybe he lied about the death of the puppy so he could resell it or he lied about the fire accident because the puppy was really having some heart troubles because of their lack of honesty or negligence. Regardless, we'll never find out what really happened, but regardless, we hope the puppy is in a better place.

Upon later investigation we found their names listed in the website for better business as an ill-reputable company - wish we had found out before this whole ordeal. I hope someone is able to hold them responsible some day.
