Dish Network denied that they had received the return of the satellite equipment which I returned upon discontinuation of my service due to a move. They continually badgered me for the $201.66 "owed" to them. I repeated called to verify the receipt of the equipment which they (and UPS) confirmed, yet they continued to bill me.
They proceeded to turn me over to a collections agency who is soon to report me to the three credit bereaus. I have called Dish Network over 10 times to get my name and credit cleared. From low level operators to "managers", they all claim inability to help. They recognize that I never owed them any money, yet no one will even agree to call the collections agency to clear my name.
The collections agency will not seek out a company that has sent them a case (not in any way in their interests), so it is up to Dish Network to clear this up. They won't do a thing, and my credit is doomed due to Dish Network's incompetance.
