Ripoff was told 10% on contingencey, now it's $700.00 only includes reaserch, I have done my own prototype, but I haven't signed yet

I had come up with a great invention, I somehow found these guys on the internet. I was asked to submit my idea, that of course lots of got great potential.

I get a phone call from a man name Chris, who said this was great. He said they would take 10 % and would be on a contingency based fee, that sounds great, then we set up another call and I get an overnight package with a confidentiality letter asking fro around $ 700.00 I don't have that kind of cash.

I have made my own prototype, tested it, and had drawn up the Auto-Cad blueprints, to be put into Cad-Cam, and make a real solid proto type, to see what it would cost to mass produce.

I now feel I have lost the one and only real chance at making a little money for my family.

I feel like I am going to get ripped off now when Davison ends up making this, and I will be out of luck.

I had a stroke at 36, that has put me out of work forever, I have missed the last calls from Chris because I was in the hospital recovering from a blood problem, so I am lost on what to do.

Any help would be kindly accepted, I am going through a Year of Chemo, and been sick, I just don't where to go from here.
