My sick elderly mother recieved one of these letters today (05-28-05) stating that she has won 3,341, 006.00 dollars. She was the only one on the list that supposedly hadnt claimed thier prize. All that she had to do was send a check or money order to have some sort of report released.
I am glad that I seen it before she had time to think about it and send in the money. I told her that i would check it out on the internet first to see if it was a scam or not. I am glad that i came here first.
If i get the time i will try and contact the post office where they want you to mail the money and inform them of what is going on. Maybe they can put an end to this scam that is stealing peoples money.
A lawsuit should be filed against the people behind this. Think of all the money they are recieving for mailing fake letters while we go to work everyday and EARN our paychecks.
