Bryan Baker, Shortrun Music ripoff declined to deliver product, decline to return valuable original material, refused to refund

We ordered 2 projects of CDs to be duped and packaging printed at $292 each. Several months went by and our orders were not mailed.

I called many times and was repeatedly assured by Bryan Baker that our orders had been completed and would be mailed. The orders did not arrive.

When I called again I was told the same thing, the orders did not arrive. This procedure went on as I say for several months. My calls and emails go unanswered. We asked for a refund and the return of our masters and art originals but there has been no response.

We want our orders, or else a refund of our money and the return of our valuable originals.

The above is the text of my original complaint filed with the BBB of Utah. Bryan Baker did not respond to the BBB's inquiries.

I want to add that Bryan Baker is the editor and publisher of Gajoob Magazine, a publication dedicated to indie musicians.in his website blurb Baker states that he is dedicated to helping indie musicians since he is one himself.

In this context, I want to attach my final letter to Bryan Baker, which, needless to say, went unanswered.

Final Letter to Bryan Baker

Bryan,

I'm very disappointed that we have not been able to get delivery of our orders. This very long delay has pretty much broken our backs here at Centaur Press Audio Books. We are a very small company with only one distributor, and due to this delay they have ceased to do business with
us.

We were originally attracted to Short Run Music because your website copy seemed to indicate that you were a friend of the struggling artist, and that you are in fact a struggling artist yourself.

This is why we find it so difficult to understand and accept that our repeated calls and emails have gone unanswered, and that we have been unable to get delivery of our orders.

We understood that you had problems in your personal life and we were certainly willing to make allowances for that, but recently you assured us in a letter that you would personally see to the production and shipping of our long delayed orders.

And yet, we've heard nothing from you.

My attorney has recommended that I take legal action. I am reluctant to do this because I do not want to enter into an adversarial relationship with Short Run Music or with anyone. All we want is delivery of our orders.

As a fellow artist, I ask you to address this matter promptly. Please give us our orders and there will be no hard feelings.
