We sent in ALL the information that OfficeMax wanted in order to receve our rebates. This was back in February. After repeated denials from them as to receiving the UPC code for an EPSON STYLUS CX4600 — of which we have sent to them twice — we took our receipts, UPC, and serial numbers into our local OfficeMax in order for them to resolve these issues. This was on the first of May. Still, nothing was done! (They OWE us a $50 and $30 rebate, plus a $20 Gift Card.)
We were PROMISED to at least get the $20 Gift Card by May 11. They are NOW claiming that we should receive it by June 9! We are obviously skeptical as to their claims.
Furthermore, we submitted a $30 rebate to Epson which was supposed to be a manufacture's rebate. EPSON has denied responsibility for the rebate and stated that OfficeMax was processing the rebate internally. Repeated inquires to Maxmyrebates.com (an affiliate of OfficeMax?) have resulted in outright denials of any knowledge of such a rebate!
On May 16, we e-mailed OfficeMax at [email protected] and attached the UPC that they requested. Hopefully, we will get results from this. But past failures by this company causes us to file this report.
