On August 9th, went to talk with Quick Weightloss Center about their program. When associate was describing the program she advised it would only cost the initial cost of $549.83. Never once going into what or if there where any additonal cost. Did say would have to attend a nutritional class in 3days of starting the 3day diet that was giving. My husband and I joined together. My husband was the first to go for his nutritional class. After that class he called me extremely upset said that in the class they presented him with what his program was going to be and an additional amount of money that the program would cost. He advised then that was not what was advised when he was signing up. That what we had paid would be all the cost to us, but maybe some of the supplements would be addtional. They where asking for his program alone for another $3000.00. I became extremely upset myself and advised him that we would not be able to afford that. And they where very misleading to us.
Because we asked upfront if there was going to be any additonal cost to what we have all ready paid and was told no more money. We called and tried to talk with them at the location about the additional cost and again was told it would not cost anymore than what we pay for supplements. But my husband was giving another amount more. At that time my husband requested to speak to a supervisor, and was unsuccessfull. But advised the associate that we would stop payment on the checks if we didnt have a response. No one responded back to us. We stoped payment on our checks and still got no response. On October 21st 2004 I was served papers where they have sued us for the amount of the checks. I went to court on January 3rd, was court ordered to by the amount of the checks plus 250.00 attorney fee and 95.00 court fee. That we where done with this very fraudulant, dishonest company. But no they continue on for more money that we never got any service from them what so ever.
Then proceed to serve us again with papers that they are sueing for more money. They have know put a judgement on us for the amount of 11,000.00. Have gotten 2000.00 but still want more money from us. I am writing this to advise anyone looking to go to Quick Weightloss Center to avoid them like the plaque. They are crooked, dishonest fradulant company. They take money from decent honest hard working consumers. And then try to take everything from you. For them being dishonest, just try to make a buck.
