I was first visited by silversand in 2003. Everything went great. One year later they called me up and wanted to know if I would like a free 8X10 of my son for his one year. I thought sure. They came out took pictures ans said someone would be incontact. I was finally contacted a few weeks later and set up a time to look at pictures. I really liked them. The guy offered me a package deal at a lower package deal. I was now only going to have to pay 169.99 for pictures not bad.
I ended up with an emergency and called in to cancel the picture because there now would not be enough room on my credit card and most photo places keep pictures for a year so you can order more. So I figured I would order them when my card was payed down. On 1/05/04 The company said sorry to late, we have already sent them. I told them they would not be able to submit payment to this credit card. They said the first payment had already been sent through.
I know was afraid I was going to be charged overage fees on my card. My husband called the credit card company to see if we had been charged over limit fees. I gave them the name of the company and they told me that no attempts had been made on the card. We waited a couple of days and still no attemps on the card. We recieved the pictures and there was a stamp date of 1/06/04 of when the picyures were sent out.
I opened them up. It was not the package I had ordered. No 8x10 only 2sheets of wallets and there was supose to 3. And 15 5x7. My husband was really upset. He called them back told them they did not send right package. They said they had no record of what package was sent.
He also told them no attemps had beed made on the credit card. They said oh well you had checks. We said no we gave a credit card. We don't use cheaks for this type of stuff due to fraudulent activities. He said he was sending them back. He sent them certified mail. They sent us a letter wanting payment.
I called and told them we sent them back weeks ago and they said they never recieved them. I said really because someone signed for them, they were sent certified mail. They did not have an answer.
Next thing I know they had lawyers suing us for $79and something cents. I am now incontact with them again. Also they never gave me a reciept of what I ordered. I only had the slips of carbon copies from my credit card.
