About a year ago I bought an SAR 3 from this Van Wagenen Finance & Guns and went out to the desert to shoot it. When I bought the gun from Van Wagenen Finance & Guns initially, they told me it was new and that if there were any problems to come back. The rifle would jam and the pin was not capable of detonating the cap. I went back to Van Wagenen Finance & Guns with my receipt in hand and the owner of Van Wagenen Finance & Guns told me that he does not gaurentee the guns and that it was sold "as is".
I recounted my earlier conversation and he stated that whoever told me that was mistaken and I was SOL. I paid $320.00 for the gun from Van Wagenen Finance & Guns and as I turned to go out of Van Wagenen Finance & Guns he called me back over and told me that he would give me $200.00 for the gun. Having no other recourse, I sold him back the gun. I went back with my dad as we were angry and wanted to talk to him some more and noted that he had put the gun back on the shelf!!! I asked to see it and noted that it had NOT been repaired!!!
Van Wagenen Finance & Guns is a con man! Van Wagenen Finance & Guns is a cheat of the worst kind! Van Wagenen Finance & Guns will lie to your face! Van Wagenen Finance & Guns will steal your money! Van Wagenen Finance & Guns are NOT good people! BEWARE OF Van Wagenen Finance & Guns!
I have spoken to many people since then about Van Wagenen Finance & Guns and everybody who knows who they are has either been swindled by them or knows someone who has. If you buy from Van Wagenen Finance & Guns you might as well write "CHUMP" across your fore head. DO NOT BUY from Van Wagenen Finance & Guns. You have been warned!
