Refusal to refund goods

I purchased a curling wand for R1400 on 17 December, wasnt happy with the product and have been given the run around to return it. The stall I made the purchase at, refuses to have any thing to do with it. They gave me an email address to send my request to... And it's now 13 days later with no reply. I'm thinking of going to court about this.
