Magazines Services of America called with a reasonable offer for magazine subscriptions, I accepted. My mistake. Since then I have received four to six phone calls a day from them despite my requests to stop. Thay all want to "VERIFY" myinformation such as my SSN and credit card number. I have asked six different times to cancel my subscription. Today the company "president" told me that the order was not subject to cancel and advised he would continue to bill my Visa. I told him that I would report him to the BBB. He said to go ahead, he was a member. For some reason I highly doubt that this is the case. I did file my report and will call my bank in the AM to prevent anymore withdrawls. Is this legal? These people are scam artists and something should be done. I have been billed 39.90 twice since December and have received only two magazines. (I was promised six)
