I recently received a bill from Target National Bank for $120.00 I do NOT have a Target account, but I have a Mervyn's Account. The statement said that they were formerly known as Retailer's National Bank (which is who I usually make my payments to) I assumed that they changed their name, since I know that Target sold Mervyn's.
I sent them a payment for 48.07... Mervyn's says they never received my payment. The check has already cleared the bank. The customer service representative says there is nothing they can do about it.
