Movex claims to have their own fleet but they subcontract. Movex said we could buy all the room we needed but the actual truck that came had a" hot load" so we had to leave precious things behind! They "pushed" their driver (very illegal) to drive 24 hours so our furniture landed in a ditch a block from our house and we had to wait another day until a special tow truck could come to pull him out! We had hired a local crew to unload us so we had to pay them for two days! According to the truck driver he had'nt been paid for three months. Movex recommended moving staffers as a professional moving company to pack the truck.
Instead we got a subcontractors sniffling hyperactive, ugly mood swing kid with two people he picked up at home depot looking for work, who couldn't speak english they kept packing things on the truck that were supposed to stay that we sold with our house. I took one thing out of the truck twiceand yet it still came to washington with us. They ruined a mahogany floor because they refused to use a piano dolly. They dumped antiques they didnt want to move, behind bushes. Packed garbage and tried to get me to pay twice what my husband agreed to.
