Purchased a oneyear home warranty contract and paid $654.79 in advance for the year. The onlyclaim I filed is for service on an icemaker. After 3 weeks, and numerous callsto them, Colonial claims center says they are unable to locate a company toservice my area. There is no doubt I have been ripped off and will never obtainservice as contracted. I tried to cancel the warranty but was told the contractwill be prorated and a $50.00 cancellation fee will apply.in other words, I ambeing penalized for their inability to fulfill the contract agreement! No oneshould ever purchase a contract from Colonial Home Warranty Service. Buy from areputable service company.
