About 1 year ago a man called me from Resort Property Depot to tell me how great his company was at timeshare resells. I stopped him right there and told him I would not give him any money up front and that I would agree to a 10% commission on the sale. He tells me that he cannot because they are not a realtor. He then asked for $895. I told him no and hung up.
Then in JUly Georgette Kramer calls from same company to tell me the market is demanding properties like mine and " really puts on the sell " telling me she can rent this property right now. I remind her about my previous call from her company and she tells me that had I listed with them then, I would have sold it. After much discussion I agreed to a $300 fee and told her I would check in each week.
I did that by calling and speaking with her quite often only to get the run around. I realized then I had been snookered. I have not been able to reach her or anyone at Resort Property Depot for several months.
This company is like ALL timeshare companies I have dealt with for years. It's ALL a scam. Do not trust anyone that tells you they can resell your timeshare. It is a bold face lie. Definitely do not provide any money up front.
