Told story of fund raising for school. Took money and never shipped book

A young man came to my door selling books and magazines supposedly to raise money for a aeronautics field trip. He said all the right things to win my sympathy as i was strapped for cash at the time.

He played on my comfort level by dropping names of nearby streets and saying he was from few blocks over.
