I receive a lettler on may 2 stated that i have won a home improvement grant in the amount of 39,000.00.in that letter was a check for 3,480.00 once i cashed the check i were to send in 1,950.00 for taxes and fees. Once they receive the money they would send me another check for 37,050.00. I did go to the bank to cash the check, i then called my husband to give him the good news he told me that it was to good to be true and that i should go and look this company up on the internet and that's when i found out that i was being riped off. The names to contact on my letter was George Thompson or Wendy Johnson the money i were to send through west. Union to someone by the name Brenda Thompson 7450, Jones Rd. Huston, TX 77065.
