The so-called world's largest gay club has run headlong into money issues. Krave Massive, yet another venture from a man seemingly desperate to do anything to stay afloat, has Krashed Massively, because Murphy was unable to come up with the money he needs.
Kelly Murphy bounces from one LGBT venture to another and all of them are — pun not intended, but recognized — going down. We have Copa Copa Bar Grill and Entertainment, a Murphy Vegas venture, shut down and an eviction noticed posted for failure to pay the lease. We have Boys Lounge, a Murphy Vegas venture, shut down and an eviction notice posted
before it even opened its doors to patrons for failure to pay the lease.
We have Drink & Drag, a Murphy Vegas venture, with employee's checks bouncing. And now we have Krave Massive, yet another Murphy Vegas venture, in the middle of construction and renovation, unable to open its doors because Murphy can't afford to pay the $80,000 to keep the project on track. It's still being built out. It's now supposed to open around New Year's Eve. We'll see. Maybe they'll just keep doing it "under the Big Top."
Everything is Kollapsing around Krave Massive. Its website is directing visitors to Murphy's sister company, Drink & Drag. It has artist sketches up instead of real images of progress. Of course, you can buy tickets to the grand opening for Krave Massive, if you feel comfortable about spending upwards of $100 to $600 a pop for a seat at a table of six. Check out its website. It's promising things but not delivering. Beware of this place. You really want to shell out money like that when this place is so obviously foundering?
