Attention: Mr. Jim Madonna,
Dear Jim, John Debney and Nick Ingman both have brought your horrendously butchered videos utilizing excerpts from the Passion of the Christ to our attention. I am former producer at Icon Productions. My name is Michael. Mr. Madonna, In viewing your work, (dare anyone call it that) it is obvious that you have not an ounce of pride or integrity in your heart.
Mr Madonna, apparently you feel that pasting someones work that is not yours, that cost over 30 million dollars to produce makes it open season for you to misrepresent it as as your own work. You have no authorization to do so! I find it hard to believe anyone who calls themself a producer would do so with a clear conscience.
No one here in the entertainment community appreciates maggots like the process of taking movie trailers and mixing them with your sense of entitlement to completely violate the code of ethics and honor amongst artist who actually create works from their own ideas and resources. I liken it to a rapist who justifies his crime by saying he used a condom.
Mr Madonna, however you may justify this abuse of copy written material, whether it is by pulling the audio out and hiding under ambiguous laws that are not binding or effectuate the making of such tasteless compositions.in your case you completely abuse the nature of the films writers and producers.
You have done well defaming the original intent of the author and his protected rights as the author of this copy written material. You belittle and victimize the producers and multitudes of people who actually put their hard work and creativity into Passion of the Christ. From my observations you have made a habit of doing the same injustice to many other films and trailers protected by copy write laws. I hereby advise you to cease and deist.
Mr Madonna, you may be facing a lawsuit facing charges in a federal court. Our legal department has been notified. I have observed this new trend of you tube plagiarizers who think they can just steal someones images and copy written ideas and use them as they please without permission! It is unconscionable.
One phrase comes to mind when describing your delusions of making videos from other peoples compositions and calling them art. I can only surmise this process of yours in two words. It can only be interpreted as blatant copy write infringement and I.P. Theft.
It seems that a new metaphor has spawned from your gross misinterpretation of art.
I like to call it...
