We went on a saturday on the 5th, to meet with a lot of other parents with their children to this seminar/orientation about getting on disney. They showed us a dvd about the children that already made it on disney, and a few who went to the another level. My child had to read a commercial script and bring 2 photos. That monday we were to send a email to [email protected] to find out if your child made it. We'll when i text them my daughter's name, 1/2 hr to 40 mins later, i get a call back telling me that they were really pleased with my daughter and how she score real well with the judges. Ziana was talking so fast, it was hard for me to keep up with her. I know she mention that in order for her to go further, that she had to pick a package that best suit us.
Well we were to meet with her @6pm for an interview with her. We had to wait because, they're were another parent in the room. Well to make a long story short, we were only in the room 10 minutes when she were rushing through the pages about disney. That's when she hit us with the cost and how soon they needed it. 48 hrs and they expect us to have 1950.00 to automatically give out to anyone. The brochure didn't specified how long they been doing this, who started it, or any names, address or phone numbers of anyone to get in touch with. It really hurted my heart to see the look on my 12 year old when she found out that we didn't have that kind of money for her to get to be a disney star. I really felt sorry for the parents that came with 3,4 and 5 children. To our family this was a big let down, and a big time rip off.
