I feel that this com, pany is rippping everyone off that takes out a membership. They claim to have 1000s of movies to be downloaded on you pay the membership fee. But once the fee is paid all you get is a few program to download movies with. They have not movies on the site at all. The program that you download searched the internet for movies in other sites. You may get 30 movie titals if you are lucky. The majority of the movies are multiples of the same movies over and over, some in other languages, but still only 30 movies.
If a site says they have x number of movies they should have those movies listed on the site in a list that can be accessed by the members and downloaded there. I have found a lot of movie sites like this one, and only a couple of sited where you can download right from that site. The sits are Suprnova.org and completemovie.com. I have use both of these sites and they give you what they say, movies to download. Suprnova.org has the most movies of the two. I am in Canada and a lot of sites are for US residence only.
The best way to keep from getting ripped off is to use site that have trial offers I have found though trial and error and time on the net. You can try to get your money back through the means you paid for your membership. If you used a credit card it makes it a lot easier to get back because the card company does all the work. However Pay-pal is not bad at getting your money back.
So I do not know what can be done about 24/7, but the more people that put a compaint on this site the better the word will get around not to use them. Best of luck at getting your money back, I have gone to my phone company. They frown on companies committing fraud though them. If Bell Canada finds that 24/7 is committing fraud there will some kind of legal action, and maybe the membership holders will get money back that way. Good luck
