I have consigned a couple of paintings to, then Toronto based, gallery director named Derek Jessop of Gibsone Jessop Gallery. (Now they've closed their Canadian operation and moved to China.)
He sold both pieces back in 2007 but a part payment of the last painting, 2625 (GBP) is still outstanding.
I have been calling and sending out reminders ever since. (now it's 2011)
He has been promising to pay but kept making excuses. But lately, since the closure of Toronto space, he's stopped responding to me.
Basically he has ripped me off.
