This report will not only be filed online on this website, but I will also be contacting the BBB about a complaint I have with this agency. Well to start off I was online browsing model agencies and ran across thickmodelspot.com
The website was very catchy and I submitted my application and 4 clear pictures of myself. A few hours laters I was contacted by an agent named Deundre and his exact words were" Hello how are you? I received your application along with your pictures and we decided we want to work with you. Do you like to travel if so the expenses are all paid and we can schedule you a photo shoot for Monday June 21.
I agreed and notified him several times I would be leaving out Sunday June 20. He then sent me an email letting me know about where my photo shoot would be located and the specific time. He then sent another email stating that he needs to see more pics of me in a two piece swimsuit. I had no problem with doing so. He also told me to call before leaving so I would be guranteed a spot.
So on Sunday June 19 at approximately 11:31 I called him and left a vm to let him know I would be leaving within the next hour. At approximately 12:51 he called back and ask had I left I replied I would be leaving in a few. He said ok let me know when you make it. I few minutes after that I received 5 texts or more from him stating unfortunately we cannot do the photo shoot with you because you dont have that look that we are searching for. He also said maybe in the future we can work together and then the other one said Lets keep in touch.
I replied and told him that he was the one that contacted me about a photo shoot and of course I submitted an application, the thing is why in the world would you call a person if you are not interested in them you know at the very moment whether or not you want to work with that applicant. I feel like that was the lowest thing a person could do to someone. Although I read complaints about this same company before, but to all women beware of these scammers or unreptable companies out here...
