I purchased The Love Boat collection of all 245 episodes and 4 specials from TV DVD Warehouse that arrived on 19 DVD's. The DVD's would not play on a DVD recorder / player, but will play on a Blu-Ray player. I randomly test played several DVD's and found there are 4 episodes on each DVD. When you do the math, there are a maximum of 76 episodes on 19 DVD's. Where are the other 173 episodes and specials?
When I test played several DVD's, I was able to tell the episodes were first recorded on VHS tape and later copied to DVD. I was also able to see the TV LAND logo in the bottom right corner of the screen. The video and audio quality was terrible when copied from tape to DVD. All 19 DVD's have the artwork form the original Love Boat Season One, Volume One DVD case with hand written numbers 1 to 19 on each DVD. Can you say Pirate DVD's?
On the TV DVD Warehouse web site there is a place to contact them in regards to your order. So far, I haven't heard any response from TV DVD Warehouse. I stated that I was not satisfied with the Love Boat collection and that I want a refund. If I don't hear from TV DVD Warehouse in a reasonable time, I will contest the charge with my credit card company.
