We were approached in the same manner as the other reports mentioned, except that the location was the Farmer's Market at the Northridge Mall. It's very disturbing because they tell your young one that they are beautiful, Photogenic and with a Great potential of making it in the business. I was given an invitation to bring my daugther to their screening event. We did it for the experience and also because my girl could not stop talking about the posibility of working on T. V and meeting teen stars they knew from TV. Just like the other parents, we got a callback and went to what I thought it would be a one to one meeting with an agent to discuss our daughter's future. They make it sound like a very seriuos matter, they demand that both parents be present and they ask not to be late. What turned out to be was a group meeting with a dozen of other families with the same dreams and hopes. It was an accurate climate for Timeshare sales, just another BIG HOAX. They meeting was in the same old smelly room where they had our kids do the screening. They don't even have the facilities worth of an entertaiment business with big $. They filled the room with metal folding chairs and if you are smart and pay attention, the videos they showed to make their sales pitch was all recorded in the same room we were sitting in, where it all had taken place from the beginning. After an hour of Bull shit, my husband and I could not take it anymore and we literally walked out with our kids without even looking back. To every parent out there... Please DON'T waste your time with these people, throw away that invitation card and don't even given a minute of your time because TRUST you will be setting up yourself for BIG dissapointment. The only thing good that came out of these was the fact that we did not disappointed our little girl by not taking her and she had to see it for herself and believe it or not, even my 11 year old girl who days before was fantasizing about being a star, was able to see right through their scam and walked out of there completely conviced that they were BIG FAKES. Just to give you a short example... They told the kids in the meeting that if their mommies and daddies allowed them to join their agency they could potentially have an opportunity to go to the set of of the "Sweet life of Zack and Cody", well too bad for them, but even my 11 year old dauther knew that that show is over and all is left is just the re-runs! I mean imagine how stupid can they be they don't even have a clue of what is going on in the business! Please pass the word and spare other families. Thank you.
