This may not be as bad as most of the reports listed here, but thsi is a "heads up" regarding an email that people may receive inviting them to get up to 4 free movie tickets at FreeFlixTix.com.
All you have to do is to give the email addresses of your friends, and then you will supposedly receive free movie tickets. However, if you read the FINE PRINT, which I am sure nobody does, they DO tell you that you "may have to complete an advertising offer" to receive the tickets.
Which means you have to sign up for a book club, a DVD club, or other such offers, giving them permission to bill you after 30 days.
So, TECHNICALLY it is FREE if you cancel in time, but do you really want to give your info to some company that might "forget" to cancel your membership when you ask them to?
The text says you "MAY" have to complee an advertising offer, but why is it that EVERYONE I know that got this far found out that they had to complete an offer? The MAY is really a MUST!
So DO NOT give these guys your email address. They will probably fill your mailbox and the mailboxes of all your friends with SPAM.
