This agency is strategically organized to recruit hopeful talent (models/actors), sign them up for 'recommended training classes' and encourage them to attend a $3000 international talent showcase called IMTA. Firstly, the agency doesn't openly explain they are a FRANCHISE of BARBIZON SCHOOLS. Secondly, they can't 'accept' you as a signed talent until you complete the $1200 classes upon your check clearing you are eligible to be signed to their agency which only got me 3 auditions the lenght of my time with them.
The office team was snobby and rude even though you were paying their salaries with your 'class fees.' I also filed a BBB complaint to get payment from them for a 'assignment' I was given for a video through their agency.
This experience was HORRIBLE! I am now with a legitimate agency where I was not required to pay them for jobs. I get auditions and BOOK PAYING jobs on a regular basis in local commerical and print.
PROMODEL should be ashamed to call themselves a business that helps talent. They are misleading and money hungry. The staff has no clue about the entertainment industry.
They should return all monies coaxed out of the hands of hardworking people wanting to follow a their career goals. It's just shameless.
