Richard Fox / Talent Hunter / talenthunter.com Incessantly Posts Ads on Craigslist in the Jobs Section Raleigh

This scammer, Richard Fox, of Talent Hunter and TalentHunter.com incessantly posts ads for Models, Actors, Actresses and Auditions in the Jobs section of Craigslist. I don't have time to look at every city Craigslist covers, but I know of at least 2 cities he does this in. The posts include links to the Talent Hunter website. The purpose of the posts are to get people to sign up for a membership. There are NO jobs being offered. Granted, the membership is free.

HOWEVER, if you EVER want to actually get any information on actual auditions or legitimate opportunities you must "Upgrade" your membership, which of course means you have to PAY! And, of course, there are no guarantees that there will ever be an audition of any kind in your particular area, or that you will ever be contacted by anyone for any type of work.

Just for fun, I went ahead and signed up. I laid low for a while. Then, I started getting messages from people who claimed to have seen my profile on Talent Hunter and had work for me in my area. When I went to the site to read my messages and get the contact information, I couldn't get it. I had to "Upgrade" to a PAID membership. What a scam! I doubt the people were real or the work legitimate. It's all just part of the scam to get you to pay for the membership and Mr. Fox laughs all the way to the bank.

So, fed up with the incessant and ever present posts on Craigslist I went to the website and contacted an online customer service representative named "Regina." I asked her who owned the company and how I could get in touch with them. She laughed me off, although she did finally give up the name. I suspect Regina is actually Mr. Fox, but that's neither here nor there. I asked "Regina" to tell Mr. Fox to stop posting his spam ads on Craigslist every day, 10 times a day.

Yes, the ads get flagged and deleted every time they're posted. Those of us who have spent any time at all on Craigslist recognize that these posts are spam and that it's all a scam designed to separate people from their hard earned money. But that's not the point. Mr. Fox has apparently been warned not to post on Craigslist anymore according to a seperate listing here on this very site, and I am sick of having to wade through the tons of garbage ads that are posted on Craigslist every single day, over and over and over! There are undoubtedly newcomers who see those ads, think they're legitimate and end up getting suckered out of their money.

I asked "Regina" and "Mr. Fox" nicely to stop posting on Craigslist and all I got was a bunch of attitude, like he's invincible or something. The more "Regina" blew me off, the more my attitude toward the whole scam worsened and I must admit to letting a few expletives fly, for which I am embarrassed. At one point "Regina" asked me why I cared and told me I must be bored. Well, that was the straw that broke the camel's back and lead me here.

Caveat Emptor! Stay away from Richard Fox and his Talent Hunter and when you see his ads on Craigslist flag them immediately!
