I would like to inform everyone even thinking about working for this company "Be Studios" PR Group that it is a total!!! Scam!!! It is extremely funny to me that when I investigated this company that they are already listed on this website.
Speaking regarding employment within this company, the employees are being used and abused with POSSIBLE money to be paid hanging in front of the employees faces. Employees are given a breakdown of how payment will be dispursed when the possible clients that the employee brings in are purchased by this supposed commercial and tv show recruiting company. I.E. 20 families purcahsed by company is $700. Employees are scheduled to work only one day a week usually friday or saturday and are paid a substantial amount of money for these families who are to be pruchased by the companies clients for screening. Employees are to drive to various locations with no allowance to put themselves out on the unfamiliar streets to try to push these invitations to families with good looking children.
The families arrive at the the screen test with an invitiation with the employee's name printed on it. The screen test that is scheduled to be on sundays is ran by a supposed boss who does not let employees work the screen test even though it is offered at the training with a working wage of $30 per hour. Probably because it can totally be controlled and the "word form the bosses mouth" should be trusted. This is a bunch of bologna with out any cheese for the employee!
How it is a scam to all employees is that when the families come in the supposed boss denies they showed up therefore paying no money to any employees. Who is making this money? The company. They have no intention of paying employees beside the one who are with their scam. How much are they being paid by the larger company? Who knows? How much are families put on the spot to pay later on in the relationship/scam? Who knows?
Be Studios has new employee training every week. Why is there so much training? Why so much turnover? They have a consistent inflow of employees who are blinded by their scam because of the possibility of money and other opportunites such as trips to Las Vegas and things. Anythign that people get excited about. Employees leave with a "Let's do this the best we can" attitude.
The supposed boss named Ashleigh states that families come in but weeks pass and no payment is received. Ashleigh keeps employees running by stating this is a bad week or by driving competitive individuals by stating what other employees got paid. Who tells employees what others got paid? Is that professional? Ashliegh gets paid by keeping this going so she should just tell all the employees that fact up front.
Sexual harrassment? OK when the girls show up there is a gentelman that is usually around named "Danny" Danny tells the females how Hot they are, they smell delicious, they look like Charlies Angels, etc etc etc. That he will take them to Las Vegas. He is a middle aged man who seems like a pimp but doesnt pay his women. Telling the girls how good they will do etc etc etc. Scuzz!
Who wants to be involved with washed up ex pornstar? You want chills from dealing with your employer who is scamming you?
OK so back to the story.
No check will ever be received and I also hope that no families follow any persuasive individuals because it isn't what they think. It is not complimentary etc etc etc. They want parents to bring pictures of thier child and probably want the chosen parents to fill out information w / SS#'s and things of that nature. Let alone the poor children running after a dream and if parents cant afford it they look bad as well.
This is a total scam and could link to many more HUGE things than just compensation. How bout ID theft etc etc. Employees are also required to bring in pictures and fill out applications of course w / SS#'s also. All seems normal but when there is a scam involved everyone wants to know what is really going on. WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE? I hope this shines a light on these people and also reminds poeple to question everything they are getting involved with before they get taken advantage of.
