Firstly was anyone approached by this shmuck before September if so did he say he was the boss or the owner? Because he was a bankrupt at the time and under most countries laws that makes him a felon.
Did you also know that any monies paid to him or his company ended up in his own personal bank account and probably vanished of to his accounts over here in the states (Does the Australian Tax Department know about those?) He even brags about "getting one over" on the taxman.
Why not get a forensic accountant go over his details, I'm sure the taxman and the government would be interested, after all it is your money & not his. Plus with all his bragging about his contacts in the industry it seems a bit strange that his first feature film (i'll repeat "FIRST!") goes on limited release in Brisbane. (probably to the dog, paperboy, garbage collector and his mom) I would be very disappointed if that is the extent of his distribution.
Your comment about the 2 Day film course diploma well that does sum things up a bit, I wonder if its encapsulated in plastic. I think I'll stick with someone who has spent time at a film school.

Just seems all is a little untrue, not that i'm calling him a liar but there is that faint smell of what lingers when the cows come home in the air just like his accountability it seems.
Just remember that with all the people you treat like crap and stand on one day you may need them plus word filters through to the higher planes about things and one day it will happen to. Couldn't think of a nicer person really.
